Institute of Physics of the Jagiellonian University seeks candidates for the above studies to be held in the framework of the International Ph.D. Projects program (MPD) financed by the Foundation for Polish Science.
We propose in total 14 Ph.D. projects to be carried out in collaboration with the foreign partners.
Studies last four years and will be located in the Jagiellonian University, however in this period each student is expected to spend 1 - 2 years in a Partner Institution. During this visits his/her stipend will be adjusted accordingly (see conditions for the details).
The recruitment for projects starting in 2010 is open now to all candidates from the whole world.
Complete applications, to be sent by the regular mail, should reach the secretariat not later than 5 July 2010. These may be supplemented by electronic copies of the applications sent to: mpd@th.if.uj.edu.pl
The applicant should specify the project in which he/she would like to participate. It is also advisable to contact earlier the supervisor of the chosen project.
